• acrylic crackle medium
• matte acrylic finish (Rust-Oleum 7902830 American Accents Spray, Matte Clear, 11-Ounce)
• wash paintbrush (Royal Combo Wash Size 1/4)
• hammer (Plastic And Rubber Jeweler Hammer Dual Head)

Note:

1. Allow each coat of paint/medium to dry thoroughly before applying next.
2. The quantity of tacks/nails will vary according to the size of frame.

Instructions To Make A Wooden Picture Frame:

1. Paint frame with rust-colored paint. Follow manufacturer’s guidelines to apply crackle medium, then dark brown paint. Finish with coat of acrylic varnish.
2. Hammer same number of upholstery tacks to each frame corner on diagonal. Hammer nails to border and inside edge of frame, approximately 1/4″ or 6mm apart.
